Magic the Gathering

Post by ankaerith »

Yeah--I know not everyone is into this game, but a lot of us are and I expect a lot of magic will be played.

I have no sealed product--if we want to draft or play sealed, please indicate what you'll bring.

I have a mostly complete battle box.

I have lots of legacy decks and will have proxied up some vintage decks.

I'm open to building a CEDH deck if there is enough interest.

I have the following sealed product already set aside for fun drafts:
Unstable
Double masters
May have Modern Horizon 2 box as well. Have a preorder, but I'm never fully confident in those.
Can bring multiple EDH decks, many are just sleeved precons, so not CEDH level.
Few legacy, and can proxy up vintage.

I can bring Conspiracy 1 and/or 2. I have tons of masters boxes unopened.

I'd be down to do some sort of special rules deck building tournament. Kinda like the pauper 2HG that we did one VegasGP where Mark and Matt destroyed Mike and I. Maybe some sort of randomized batch of sets and you can only build using cards from those sets. Something silly. Proxies of course allowed.

What if we each got to pick 1 or 2 sets from the Modern era and then once we had all the different sets selected, we would pick 3 or 4 randomly from that pool, and those would be the sets we were allowed to brew a deck from. We could also do something like limit the number of rares or make it singleton or some other way to make sure there is no netdecking.
